Andy Brasher is a singer/songwriter/performer from Owensboro, Kentucky. Andy has been writing songs since the age of 10 and playing guitar since age 14. He comes from a family steeped in musical tradition and grew up around jam sessions that his father and uncles would have. He slapped his hands on his knees until he picked up a couple of guitar chords from dad, then there was no looking back. Andy has logged MILES!!! playing in bars, clubs and coffeehouses for the last 10 years; including a recent tours of the East Coast and Midwest, the Midpoint Music Fest in Cincinnatti, Hard Rock Cafe, the Big O Music Festival and the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Over the years, Andy has accumulated a repertoire of over 200 original compositions and an extensive bank of cover music in most styles. Andy has released the recordings Crows and Buzzards ,Crows and Buzzards Bonus Disc and White Trash Totem Pole Volumes 1,2, and 3 with the band White Trash Totem Pole. In 2009, Andy released the “Brasher/Bogue Project”, a collaborative effort with Nashville songwriter and performer, Dustin Bogue.
**The release of the 2nd Andy Brasher solo album called “Last of Our Kind” will take place at the Riverpark Center in Owensboro, KY on September 17, 2010.

Andy performs solo acoustic shows as well as performing with bands Ten Pound Pie, The Loose Cannons, and White Trash Totem Pole. Andy has recently opened for Randy Houser, Mountain Heart, Jamey Johnson, Gary Allen, Mark Wills, Phil Vassar and many more…
