Kentucky songwriter, recording and performing artist Andy Brasher brings fresh energy to the Americana music scene through his vivid storytelling, soulfully captivating vocals and mastery of his instrument -- all of which are on full display with his stunning 2020 solo album, Myna Bird, released everywhere on April 3rd 2020.

A star studded team, including 4 time Grammy Award winning producer and engineer, Ross Hogarth(Keb' Mo', Shawn Colvin, REM, John Cougar Mellencamp), producer Harry Lee Smith(Martina McBride, Restless Heart, Angaleena Presley), legendary drummer Kenny Aranof and more, helped to create Andy's latest and 6thstudio album, Myna Bird.

The Andy Brasher Band now performs songs from Myna Bird along with Andy’s previous five albums of original music. The band includes their own take on favorite covers, as well, as part of their live set. Andy Brasher Band travels the US bringing the show to audiences of all sizes.

Andy has been featured in Billboard Magazine and many other national outlets for his songwriting, recordings and performances.

Brasher cites his “big break” in the music industry as opening for Kenny Chesney on Kenny’s 2011 “Going Coastal” summer tour.

Since then he has headlined shows across the U.S. and internationally and shared the marquee with Tim McGraw, Kid Rock, Kenny Chesney, Aaron Lewis, Hank Williams Jr., Dierks Bentley, Josh Turner, Charlie Daniels Band, Blackberry Smoke and more.

Andy Brasher started his musical career as a songwriter in Nashville, TN in early 2000. After penning several songs with co-writer Dustin Bogue, the two formed the popular group Brasher/Bogue and toured the country with their music.

During this time, Brasher also became a founding member and lead vocalist of the rock group Buzzard, with members of already successful, Nine Pound Hammer and Nashville Pussy.

Brasher has co-written and licensed many songs for radio.

Andy’s songs have been featured in film and media productions and can also be heard on terrestrial, satellite and internet radio stations all across the US and internationally.  Brasher is a frequent guest on songwriter panels for major U.S. songwriter's festivals. 

Aside from Andy’s personal accomplishments in the music industry, he has worked together with fiancé Tamarra Miller to create a popular free music festival for his hometown of Owensboro, KY, called PorchFest OBKY. PorchFest started in 2018 and continues to draw thousands of fans.

In addition, Andy and Tamarra have recently opened their own music venue, Brasher’s Lil’ Nashville, in downtown Owensboro, KY, which features national, regional and local talented artists and bands from all over.
